Fire Crews Attend Fire In The Open At Lodmoor Park

At 9.40pm yesterday evening a fire was sighted at Lodmoor Park in Weymouth accoridng to witnesses the fire was deemed uncontrolled however a group of young people were seen sat near the fire.

in a statement from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service a spokesperson said:

” At 9.40pm yesterday evening, a crew from Weymouth were called to Lodmoor Park, Weymouth following reports of a fire in the open. firefighters extinguished a campfire and our stop came at 10.02pm “

According to witnesses 2 fire engines arrived on scene and spoke to the young people at the fire to educate them on potential hazards of holding a fire at Lodmoor Park.
