Police Investigate Suspicious Behavior in Portland Playpark: Men Identified but No Arrests Yet

Dorset Police received reports around 2:30 pm on Thursday, April 11, regarding two men behaving suspiciously at a playpark in Easton Gardens on Portland.

According to our reports parents on Portland have been left deeply concerned following reports of two foreign men harassing children at Easton Gardens. The incident occurred on Thursday 11th April while a group of ten children, aged between 9 to 11 years old and comprising both boys and girls, were enjoying themselves in the park. Witnesses recount the distressing experience as these men attempted to engage with the children under suspicious pretenses.

According to a Dorset Police spokesperson, ” parents approached the men, after which they left the area. The local neighbourhood policing team has been informed and is conducting investigations. “

” The men, identified as being from the south of Portland and London, have since been located. Police are still investigating to clarify the details of the incident and to confirm if any offenses occurred. As of now, no arrests have been made.”
