As reported in the past the clothing retail giant had to close its premises in the town centre after it was ejected by the landlord.

The store has now revealed on its website and in a Facebook post that it will return on Wednesday June 15, just around the corner from its former premises.

The Facebook Post reads: “Weymouth, we are excited to welcome you to our new store on 15th June, we can’t wait to see you! #thatnewlookfeeling”.

The new store will be located on New Bond Street, formerly Monsoon and Accessorize, which closed its doors and stopped trading in early January.

Part of the fabric of the town, New Look opened its first store in St Mary Street 51 years ago. The chain also has headquarters at Mercery Road and is a major local employer.
