Weymouth Town Council is setting up a brand new Youth Town Council and is holding an event on Friday 25th November for people in secondary year groups 9 to 13 to come along to and find out more on how to get involved.

Weymouth Town Council Councillor Alex Fuhrmann said: “This is your chance to help shape Weymouth and find out more about joining the Youth Town Council. So come along, grab a slice of pizza, and talk about how your generation can make a difference. Your opinion matters, and we want to build a platform for you to be heard.”

The event takes place between 5pm and 7pm at the Council Chamber, New Town Hall, Commercial Road, Weymouth on Friday, 25th November.

The first meeting of the Youth Town Council is due to take place at a later date.
