Community In Shock After Acid Attack In Wyke Regis

On the evening of April 28, 2023, an acid attack occurred at Wyke Smugglers pub in Weymouth, Dorset. The incident left one man reported to be aged 28 injured. We are not aware of the current updates on the condition of the male.

The suspect of the attack fled the scene in a black Audi A5, According to witnesses. The police immediately launched an investigation. They Police were spotted entering a nearby Tesco Express to seek CCTV footage of the car.

The attack left the community in shock, and residents and local business owners expressed concern about the safety of the town. The Wyke Smugglers pub was temporarily closed while the police conducted their investigation.


Less than a few moments after the acid attack, another violent incident occurred in Weymouth. A man was stabbed at Upwey Train Station. The victim was taken to the hospital.

The incidents have left Weymouth residents and visitors concerned about their safety. The police have assured the public that they are doing everything possible to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attacks.
